We will try our best to meet your needs for assistance and accommodations. You’ll have the opportunity to communicate your accessibility needs to us closer to the event as part of the ticket registration process. For guests using wheelchairs and other mobility devices, we have paid special attention to ensuring a safe and barrier-free experience, but please be advised that there are certain areas of the venue that are only accessible by stairs.
The event will be live-streamed (for free), allowing everyone to join in. However, due to the live stream, we can't guarantee anonymity for anyone attending in person. Making games is a form of art that calls us to walk a murky path with courage as our guide. This creative journey begins with us individuals but is traversed together with our peers.
We created Games First in 2013 to celebrate this shared endeavour and the built-in collaborative nature of the Finnish games industry.
Games First is about sharing and learning – meeting familiar and new faces in a safe environment free of the dreadful corporate networking atmosphere and sales pitches.

What to expect?
Games First is a space to connect with peers in a friendly, non-salesy environment. There’s refreshments, food, games and conversation areas to help you connect with old and new friends.
During the day we enjoy talks from speakers aimed to spark inspiration and converastion.
While the anticipated Game Demo Session calls game developers to take the stage to share with the community what they are working.
